Foam Products is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2019 Plastics Industry Awards for the HOTBIN Mini compost bin in the category of Consumer Product Design of the Year.
The HOTBIN Mini brings fast and effective composting to smaller households who wish to compost all their food and garden waste in just 30-90 days. This means less waste sent to landfill, incineration or anaerobic digestion through kerbside collections.
Manufactured from recyclable expanded polypropylene (EPP), the HOTBIN Mini has thick EPP walls which provide excellent insulation properties helping to lock in all of the heat generated naturally by bacteria during breakdown and producing internal temperatures of 40-60°c for speedy composting.
Now in its 19th year, the Plastics Industry Awards recognises and rewards excellence within a competitive plastics marketplace. Winners will be announced on September 27th 2019 at an awards ceremony in London.
