Engineered Foam Products will showcase the HOTBIN composting bin at stand 443 at the world’s most prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show being held at the Royal Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, London from 22nd to 26th May.

The show boasts over 157,000 visitors each year and several members of the British Royal Family attend a preview of the show as part of the royal patronage of the RHS.

Visitors will be encouraged to meet with the HOTBIN team to learn more about how to divert more food and garden waste from landfills and recycle it into rich reusable compost in just 90 days.

HOTBIN is a hot composting bin made of expanded polypropylene foam (EPP) which composts different types of food and garden waste including cooked food, weeds and more. What makes HOTBIN stand apart from the competition resides in the insulation provided by its EPP walls allowing internal temperatures to climb to 40-60°C by insulating heat generated naturally by bacteria decomposing waste. These temperatures allow for more efficient and effective compost production than any other composting bins in the industry without the need for compost accelerators.

With more gardens on show this year, the RHS Chelsea Flower show is set to lead the way in innovative gardening. Tickets are available via the Royal Horticultural Society website.
