Last year Margaret Cracknell, HR Business Partner, literally ran out of her comfort zone to raise money for SANDS charity (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).

Margaret took the challenge to run 60 miles over one month. Tracking her progress via her Smart phone, Margaret’s target was to run 3 – 4 miles every other day along the park close to her home.  It was a struggle but determination, coupled with a reasonably flat area to run, helped her to achieve her goal. She recalls the last 3 miles being particularly challenging but the support she received spurred her onwards.

Huge congratulations to Margaret for taking the challenge and raising in excess of £600 for this very worthy cause.

Margaret commented “Thanks to all who sponsored me and helped to raise this substantial amount for this amazing charity.  Your support and every donation really helped spur me on to hit the 60-mile goal”.

SANDS funds research and works closely with organisations to help reduce the number of baby deaths and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby through bereavement care.
