Engineered Foam Products welcomed MP Gregor Poynton to its Livingston facility to showcase how advanced foam moulding supports sustainable manufacturing and skills growth in Scotland. The visit highlighted EFP’s ongoing investment in innovation, automation, and circular economy solutions.
Engineered Foam Products (EFP) was delighted to welcome MP Gregor Poynton to its Livingston manufacturing facility, where he met the team behind our advanced foam moulding operations and learned more about how our innovative materials contribute to sustainable manufacturing across multiple sectors.

During the visit, Mr Poynton discussed the importance of local manufacturing, skills development, and sustainability in Scotland’s industrial future. The EFP team showcased how our expanded polypropylene (EPP) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) technologies are helping reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and support circular economy goals.
The visit also highlighted EFP’s investment in modern manufacturing, including automation and product innovation across markets such as automotive, construction, and packaging.
