Engineered Foam Products (EFP), a British Plastics Federation EPS Group member, recently welcomed Andrew Lewer, Conservative MP for Northampton South to the head office and manufacturing site located in Northampton.

With an interest in plastics manufacturing, Andrew was given an insight into the EPS and EPP market with a full factory tour demonstrating the entire production process from initial concept, through to tooling, final production and end of life recycling. There was also the opportunity to explore a range of innovative products that are manufactured across the business for a diverse range of industries including construction, packaging, automotive, horticulture, and consumer.

Andrew Lewer MP commented ‘I was delighted to pay a visit to Northampton based Engineered Foam Products to meet the team and find out more about the company’s technical yet sustainable moulding solutions. Engineered Foam Products are a great local business to have in the constituency and I look forward to seeing them go from strength to strength’.

Tim Wilson, Chief Technical Officer said ‘The team at Engineered Foam Products were delighted to host Andrew Lewer MP to showcase the huge environmental benefits of plastics and also highlight the challenges facing our business, and many others, including high energy costs, legislation restricting recycling and issues related to Brexit’.
