Engineered Foam Products’ HOTBIN Composter Now Available in the USA & Canada
Engineered Foam Products is pleased to announce the fast and efficient HOTBIN composter is now available to US and Canadian composting enthusiasts once again.
After a successful sales trial in 2019, the HOTBIN composter is now back to stay in the USA with a new dedicated website HOTBINcomposting-us.com where the original 52 gallon HOTBIN is available to buy now and the award winning 26 gallon HOTBIN Mini available for pre-order to ship later this month. FREE shipping is offered on both models.
HOTBIN offers a smart and easy way to start composting and a more efficient way to recycle your compostable kitchen and garden waste. The HOTBIN composter offers a fast and practical method of composting more waste types and has proven extremely popular with the UK market where it was originally launched.
Since launching back in 2011, the HOTBIN has seen great success winning Gold for “Best Compost Making Product” in the 2018 Great British Growing Awards and more recently winning the RHS Chelsea Product of the Year 2019 for the HOTBIN Mini, a compact version of the HOTBIN suited for smaller households and if outside space is limited.
Simple to use the unit requires chopped waste with a balance of shredded paper and woodchips added into the top and rich homemade compost is harvested from the door at the base.
By utilising the thermal properties of the expanded polypropylene (EPP) walls the HOTBIN naturally heats up to 104-140°F (40-60°C) allowing additional types of waste to be composted when compared to cold composting methods. This means unavoidable waste including cooked food waste, plate scraps, fruit and vegetable peelings and perennial weeds can all be efficiently recycled and composted diverting waste away from the worlds landfill sites.
The hotter the heap, the faster waste will compost speeding the process by up to 32 times faster than cold composting methods meaning compost can be produced in as little as 30-90 days.
The HOTBIN Composter is now available in the USA to offer home and business owners an environmentally friendly method of recycling domestic food and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost for use in improving soil quality and growing more home grown produce.
