The Role

Exciting opportunity for a permanent Customer Service Administrator to join our Northampton plant.

To ensure that first class Customer Service is delivered to the customer by satisfying their requirements and delivering on time and in full.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week 8am to 4pm with flexibility – 5 days per week on site

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Collate production & sales figures to produce a daily financial pack with the use of EIQ reports.
  • Data Input & order processing.
  • Customer part maintenance e.g., new prices, modifications and new part set up on systems.
  • Maintain customer order schedule and weekly deliveries.
  • Attend daily meeting to report on data.
  • Expedite the despatch process through tracing, information transfer and monitoring of shipments.
  • Process and reconcile intercompany transfers.
  • Collate information for month end KPI’s.
  • Procurement control.
  • Coordinate customer information process – All documentation.
  • Communicate with other sites for transfer of information and requests.
  • Use of IT systems & software.
  • Perform general office duties (managing the phone, supplies, mail, filing, photocopying etc.)
  • Research accounts receivable issues.
  • Update BOM’s.
  • Ensure the month end procedure is followed, to strict deadlines.
  • Arrange customer shipments and provide tracking information.

 Customer Service

  • Prioritise and process customer orders, product availability, deliveries, and queries within a busy environment.
  • Manage customer relations and communicate internally and externally customer needs & expectations.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints quickly and efficiently, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Understand key customer individual needs and actioning them.

Qualifications

Must haves:

  • Customer Service experience essential
  • Previous experience of administration duties
  • Strong decision-making / communication skills
  • Knowledge of planning transport and logistic preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • PC literate and able to present information coherently, accurately and persuasively
  • Numeracy skills is essential
